Finally!

Well, its official: we are NO LONGER home owners! YEAH PRAISE GOD!

I wanted to wait till we actualy closed and signed the papers before I said it outloud to everyone!
We moved into our rental home a week before we closed, for a various amount of reasons, but we were still not sure about the closing, we have to bring ALOT more money to close than originally anticipated, but God has plans to prosper us and not to harm us, and we believe that whole heartedly! With a little help from my parents, (actually alot of help), also from people like Mike and Judy Rayl, Mike Snow, Jaime Burke, Perry and Laura Johnson, and by the grace of God we were able to get everything done and close on the sale of our first home. Thanks to everyone for your prayers, thoughts, actions, and overall contributions in various forms that made it possible! its true that God honors commitment, and we have certainly seen that come to fruition.

Now we are renting a REALLY big and nice home till we can get into the home we have been praying and dreaming about for about 3 months. It will come available to us for purchase very soon, within 3-4 months. So we will keep praying that Gods will allows us to purchase this wonderful home in Goddard school district for WAY under value. Which will definately help make up for the equity and profit we lost on selling our home.

Oh, and by the way, MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Not looking good...

Well the FHA appraiser for the buyers lender is being very difficult. He is saying our house is worth $4000 less than our sale price of $98,000, which is a load of horse manure!!! I had this house appraised last year at $102,000 and this guy says its only worth $94,000... which is an $8000 difference. I think the guy sprinkled some crack on his wheaties that morning before he came over and looked at our house...
I dont care what the housing markets are doing right now or what the credit crisis is; theres no freakin way it would cause my home to lose $8000 in value... So we are now at an empass becasue neither the buyer nor do we have $4000 to bring to the table. I have requested a new apprasial but it prolly wont happen because of the loan from the buyers being an FHA loan. If they try to go conventional it might happen but its looking like we may not sell the house after all... THIS IS VERY DISTRESSING since we have already begun the process of packing and moving and transfering everything to the new rental house...

If you can say a prayer for us over the next few days that would be FANTASTIC!

Update...

Ok so I have again been neglecting my blogging duties...

However I have good reason! We have been working furiously on getting our house ready for closing. We have painted the trim on the outside, fixed cracked window, repaired rotten wood on the porch, fixed a downed wire from the house to the garage, and the last thing I need to do is put a new finish on the porcelain bathtub. I will do that next Monday, and we will be moving into the rental house on Monday as well; or possibly Tuesday...

So keep us in your prayers that everything goes smoothly on the closing which is supposed to be Friday the 19th at 4pm.
