This weekend mom and dad come to Wichita to visit and go shopping. They bought Adrian and Jaydon outfits for Easter. Adrian got a nice dress and Jaydon got a really cute little khaki outfit, with a sweater-vest and polo shirt!
So dad decided to make a change to his appearance and surprise us. Now trust me, while it may seem subtle, for him and mom its DRASTIC!
If you don’t realize the subtle change, dad shaved his beard down to just a goatee! and his hair is REALLY short. This is like DRASTIC change for dad cause hes like this always dependable ever ready never change always the same kind of guy! I think he hasn’t shaved his beard in like 15 years or something… I have been telling him for a long time to go with just the goatee! I think i makes him look 10 years younger! Adrian said, “You look ‘tough’ now papa.”
I told dad I thought he should put on a black suit and tie and he would EASILY pass off for an experienced MAFIA hitman!
Anyway mom had a test done last Thursday for her bladder to help determine why she has to pee so often, and they gave her some topical medication to help alleviate the problem. Apparently her bladder is having these spasms and she cant control her urges. This medication is supposed to help with that.
I will post more updates later and pics of the kids with their easter outfits on.
BTW I am STILL unemployed however things are looking VERY promising! I have had 2 interviews with a cable company in Emporia and if I get the job I would commute to Emporia every day but the money and benefits would be outstanding and totally worth the drive! Its only an hour anyway…
